We are prayerfully seeking a pastor to lead us into our next season of ministry as our current pastor retires after 18 years of faithful service. Our Mission and Creed ( Required Alignment ) Alignment with our mission and creed is essential to this role. Mission- To engage unchurched, de-churched, and under-churched people in a transforming relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Creed- It's not about me. I give myself freely and totally to God; That I may be used: For the building of God's Kingdom For the care of God's world To love God's children—all of God's children Even those who are not like me Even those who do not like me That God's Kingdom might become real And I might be blessed and be made complete Position Overview The Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, preach and teach the Word of God in relevant and engaging ways, offer pastoral care, and work collaboratively with church leadership to foster spiritual and congregational growth. This position may be full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate and church needs. Key Responsibilities Prepare and preach weekly worship services Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care Officiate baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other special services Support discipleship, fellowship, and community outreach Collaborate with the church board on ministry, administrative, and growth efforts Qualifications Ordained, licensed, or commissioned for ministry (or actively pursuing ordination) Seminary education or equivalent theological training (completed or in progress) Prior ministry experience preferred; mentoring available Compensation Compensation and hours are based on experience, education, and role structure.
