This role exists to create environments where people can encounter God through worship while developing healthy teams, cultivating spiritual growth, and supporting the overall vision and mission of Harvest Church. The Worship Pastor must be a spiritual leader having an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ believing he died and rose again for our sins. Salary is based upon full-time or part-time with experience taken into consideration. Primary ResponsibilitiesWorship Leadership Organize and lead the congregation in worship during weekend services and Wednesday Youth service, staying sensitive and responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Create worship experiences that help people connect with God and engage in authentic worship. Work collaboratively with church leadership to support the vision and direction of the church through worship. Other duties assigned. Team Development & Discipleship Lead, develop, disciple, and shepherd worship team members spiritually, relationally, and musically. Foster a culture of excellence, unity, humility, and servant leadership within the worship ministry. Build meaningful relationships with team members and provide encouragement, mentoring, and pastoral care. Recruit, onboard, and develop new musicians and vocalists through the Harvest Worship Team audition and onboarding process.
Skills Vocal abilities:
pitch, tone, rhythm, and harmonies.
Instrumental abilities:
rhythm, play by ear, prefer piano and/or guitar. Spiritual giftings in leadership and influence. Service Planning & Administration Schedule worship team members and coordinate weekly service participation. Plan and implement new songs, arrangements, and worship resources for the congregation and team. Organize music libraries, charts, tracks, and other ministry resources necessary for worship services. Communicate service details, expectations, and ministry updates with teams and team members. Production & Technology Enhance the worship experience through the effective use of technology and production. Pursue and implement improvements that elevate both in-person and online worship experiences. Collaborate with production teams and leaders to maintain excellence in audio, visual, livestream, and presentation systems. Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices that support ministry effectiveness. Special Services & Events Plan and oversee all worship and production elements for special services and events including: Worship Nights Good Friday Services Easter Services Christmas Services Prayer Gatherings Other church-wide events as assigned Coordinate rehearsals, teams, technical requirements, and service flow for major events. Church-Wide Ministry Support Develop and curate church prayer and worship playlists that support personal spiritual growth and church initiatives. Contribute creative ideas and ministry improvements that help people engage more deeply with church life both online and in person. Support the overall mission and vision of the church through collaboration with staff, teams, and ministry leaders. Key Outcomes A spiritually healthy and growing worship ministry.
