The Hope Center Ministries School for Ministry (SFM) is a leadership development and hands-on ministry practicum designed to equip individuals who desire to grow in ministry, leadership, and service. SFM combines biblical discipleship, leadership development, and practical ministry experience to help participants grow spiritually, develop their leadership abilities, and gain firsthand experience serving within Hope Center Ministries. Our goal is to develop Christ-centered leaders who are teachable, dependable, spiritually grounded, and prepared to serve wherever God calls them. What the Program Includes School for Ministry participants develop through two primary areas: Leadership & Spiritual Development Participants receive structured development focused on building a strong biblical foundation, personal character, and practical leadership skills.

Areas of development may include:

Biblical discipleship and spiritual growth Servant leadership Communication and conflict resolution Integrity, stewardship, and accountability Time management and personal responsibility Leadership development and decision-making Understanding and protecting HCM's mission, values, and culture Development may include coursework, leadership sessions, assessments, mentorship, and practical assignments. Hands-On Ministry Practicum Participants also gain practical experience by serving alongside established HCM leaders and departments.

Campus & Recovery Ministry Recovery Pastor Campus Leadership Director Development Operations & Administration Admissions Human Resources Finance Development & Organizational Support Development and Fundraising Communications Creative and Marketing Information Technology and Digital Innovation Practicum assignments are based on the participant's area of development, ministry needs, and available opportunities. Participants may have opportunities to observe experienced leaders, assist with ministry responsibilities, learn established systems and processes, and gradually take on greater responsibility under appropriate supervision. Participation in SFM is voluntary and unpaid. The program is designed for ministry training, development, and practical experience. Participation or completion of SFM does not guarantee future employment with Hope Center Ministries. Participants are not required to apply for employment with HCM upon completion of the program.
