Overview Join our dedicated team as a Chaplain and become a vital source of spiritual support, guidance, and comfort within our community. In this role, you will provide compassionate pastoral care to individuals and families facing life's most challenging moments, including terminal illness, grief, and crisis situations. Your leadership in spiritual and religious matters will foster hope, resilience, and healing, ensuring that every person feels valued and understood. This paid position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact through faith-based service and compassionate outreach. We are looking for a vibrant , Spirit filled Chaplain with a passion for serving the Lord. The position requires being Bilingual , fluency is Spanish and English . Candidates need to have musical skills including playing instruments like piano / guitar and able to lead in worship. Looking for candidates in the Conroe TX area or close by and willing to drive. Duties Offer spiritual guidance, pastoral counseling, and bereavement support to patients, families, staff, and community members. Lead religious services, prayer sessions, and educational programs aligned with biblical theology and religious teachings. Provide crisis intervention and conflict management during emergencies or difficult situations with sensitivity and professionalism. Prefer musical talents including playing instruments like piano / guitar / singing abilities and able to lead worship Chaplain can choose their passion to serve in mens , womens or childrens ministry Attendance for all church services including sunday and midweek services required Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate spiritual care into overall wellness plans for individuals facing terminal illness or trauma. Facilitate workshops, seminars, or events focused on religious studies, spiritual growth, or community engagement. Mentor and train volunteers or staff in religious leadership and pastoral theology to enhance the quality of spiritual services offered. Maintain accurate records of pastoral visits, counseling sessions, and spiritual activities in compliance with organizational policies. Requirements Proven experience working as a clergyperson or in a faith-based organization within a nonprofit setting. Strong background in biblical theology, religious teaching, and Christian counseling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences through public speaking or presentations. Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse communities with sensitivity and respect for different backgrounds. Skilled in crisis management, terminal illness counseling, and working with families during difficult times. Experience in hospice care or healthcare settings providing spiritual support for terminally ill patients is highly desirable. Ability to plan events, facilitate group discussions, and mentor others in religious leadership roles. Pay:
