As a Pastoral Educator within the Spiritual Care service, the role anchors holistic healing across inpatient, emergency, and specialty areas at a 500+ bed regional hub that reflects 100 years of community-trusted care; the spiritual care team provides multi-faith chaplaincy, trauma and crisis response, grief and bereavement support, family conferences, rituals and sacraments, staff resilience rounding, and ethics collaboration to meet the diverse needs of patients and caregivers.

The Pastoral Services Director will set strategic direction for spiritual care, develop and track outcomes, optimize on-call coverage, mentor chaplains and volunteers, coordinate faith-community partnerships, and participate in ethics and palliative care committees. As a Pastoral Educator, one designs and leads training that strengthens compassionate communication and culturally sensitive practice across an interdisciplinary team of nurses, APPs, physicians, social workers, case managers, and therapists.
