The Core Mission The Student Pastor leads the spiritual formation of 7th-12th graders. The ultimate goal is to "Help students discover and live a God-centered life." This role exists to build a system of discipleship that moves students from attendance to ownership of their faith
- fully aligned with the mission and vision of Center Point Church. This role is about more than running a ministry; it s about building disciples, developing leaders, and shaping the future of the church. Role Identity The Student Pastor is not the personality of the ministry
- they are the builder of leaders and systems.
They win by developing students into disciples, multiplying adult and student leaders, and aligning student ministry with the broader mission of the church. Primary Responsibilities 1.
Vision & Alignment:
Cast and execute a clear vision for student ministry that aligns with CPC s mission and the Four Ones (One Church, One Message, One Mission, One Future).
- Define and drive measurable wins for spiritual growth
- Ensure every environment, event, and program serves the discipleship pathway 2.
Leadership Multiplication:
Build and lead a high-capacity volunteer leadership team.
- Recruit, train, and coach adult leaders
- Develop student leaders through a clear pipeline
- Create a culture where leaders lead leaders 3.
Teaching & Spiritual Formation:
Communicate biblical truth with clarity, conviction, and cultural awareness.
- Move students from hearing the truth to living it out
- Oversee teaching environments that are engaging, gospel-centered, and actionable 4.
Parental Partnership:
Equip parents as the primary spiritual leaders of their homes.
- Build systems that resource and support families
- Extend discipleship beyond the church and into everyday life 5.
Operational Leadership:
Execute the key environments of student ministry with excellence.
- Oversee camps, retreats, and mission experiences
