This job is for chaplains that work part-time who would not be exempt associates.

Responsibilities:

Trinity Mother Frances Health System in conformity with the Ethical and Religious Directive for Catholic Health Services. Provide service periodically as scheduled and as called upon when the need presents itself Provide pastoral and spiritual care for patients and staff on a regular basis. Train staff on basic spiritual assessment and intervention. Follow up spiritual consults made by staff. Provide pastoral consultation as part of the multidisciplinary team where patient care is provided. Provide pastoral and spiritual care to people in crisis of cardiac or respiratory arrest and death when requested. Develop, coordinate, and monitor spiritual care volunteers in a volunteer program as directed. Provide for worship experiences as directed. Represent

Trinity Mother Frances pastoral care in local churches as requested Provide for worship experiences as directed. Assist patients and their families with outside clergy visits where requested. Facilitate for clergy their access to their parishioners within appropriate confidentiality policies. Complete monthly record of activities and submit it to the department office assistant.
