JUNE, 2026 HILL COUNTRY CHRISTIAN CHURCH SENIOR PASTOR
Job Description Worship Ministry Preside over Sunday Services Deliver Sunday Sermons according to contract. Youth Minister will preach at agreed designated services and in the absence of Senior Minister unless other arrangements are made. Lead Congregational Prayer of Compassion. Deliver invitation to membership. Preside over Communion Service. Secure substitute preacher in absence of Senior Minister. Conduct Wedding and Funeral Services. Education Ministry Lead Bible Studies Empower, encourage and advise volunteers to teach Bible Studies. Support Education Committee in developing plans/programs (Sunday School, VBS, Children/Youth. Church Growth Welcome visitors and send follow-up letters. Encourage participation in local events and charities. Participate in area/community organizations (Ministerial Alliance, Schools, Chamber of Commerce, etc.). Support and participate in fund-raisers and church events (craft fairs, bake sales, barbecues, etc.). Pastoral Ministry Visit pre- and post-operative patients (members and family), visit hospitalized members and families, visit shut-ins. Counsel members and others who seek help. Contact and keep in touch with lapsed members.
