Job Description
First Baptist Church of Valley View is seeking a Worship Leader to lead Christ-centered, Scripture-aligned worship and provide leadership for the worship ministry in partnership with the Senior Pastor. This role includes worship planning, team leadership, and volunteer coordination.
Position:
Full-time preferred (part-time considered).Salary:
up to $48,000/year (based on experience and role scope). Key Responsibilities- Lead congregational worship with spiritual sensitivity and musical excellence.
- Plan worship services with the Senior Pastor (themes, song selection, flow, and transitions).
- Prepare and lead rehearsals; provide charts/lyrics and coordinate musicians and vocalists.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and encourage worship and production/tech volunteers.
- Coordinate worship for special services, seasonal events, and church-wide gatherings. Reporting Structure
- Reports to the Senior Pastor; collaborates with staff and leads worship/tech volunteer teams. Qualifications
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with church beliefs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead worship and develop teams (musicians, vocalists, and volunteers).
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
