Status:
Part time, hourly (15-20 hours/wk.)
Pay:
$27.00 per hour
Benefits:
Vacation Pay; Mission Trip/Nonprofit Volunteer Pay; travel reimbursement.
Overview of position:
We are looking for a Youth Pastor for middle and high school age youth, to serve as their spiritual leader, mentor and teacher. The role involves encouraging the spiritual growth of our youth at a formative time in their lives; working with their parents and families; leading a volunteer team; being part of our church staff team (which includes attending staff functions, as well as helping with church events where necessary.) We are looking for a candidate who is:
  • Able to disciple younger people and teach the Bible with confidence.
  • Pastorally experienced with a desire to invest one-on-one with the youth.
  • Able to organize fun activities.
  • Open to running summer camps and mission trips.
  • Sensitive to those with neurodivergent and special needs.
Other Competencies:
We are looking for a person who is theologically orthodox and open to charismatic spirituality. You do not have to be an Anglican for this post. You do have to be passionate about God!

Church of the Holy Spirit is a charismatic, evangelical Anglican church in Leesburg, Virginia. We are a church that emphasizes both Word and Spirit. In 2025 our average Sunday attendance was 128. We are part of the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic, in the Anglican Church in North America.
