Director of Young Adult and Outreach Ministries

Main Goal:

To provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for engaging young adults (ages 18-35) and cultivating a culture of evangelism, hospitality and community outreach within the church.

Young Adult Ministry Performance Standards:

In collaboration with Asbury pastors develop and implement a vision and strategy for young adult ministry Plan and lead weekly gatherings Disciple young adults in spiritual formation, leadership and service Recruit, train and oversee volunteer leaders Integrate young adults into the broader life of the church (worship, service and leadership) Key Result Area #2•

Outreach & Evangelism Performance Standards:

Develop and implement strategies to reach unchurched and dechurched individuals Organize community oriented ministries (classes, events, etc.) Cultivate partnerships with local organizations, churches, campus ministries and community leaders Key Result Area #3•

Administration & Communication Performance Standards:

Manage ministry budgets in coordination with church leadership Evaluate ministry effectiveness regularly Ensure safe sanctuary policies and procedures are followed

$55,000.00•$65,000.00 per year
