About us We are a reliable Newport Beach, California Addiction Treatment Center where foundations are laid for lasting recovery. Our licensed and accredited residential addiction treatment centers specialize in treating substance abuse addiction and underlying co-occurring issues. Every client is provided a personalized treatment plan carefully developed by our multidisciplinary team of licensed clinicians and addiction professionals, which ensures the individualized care that our clients deserve. This position is for our Women's Residential Facility. We work really well with students and train you to work with our population! Looking for invested and dedicated staff to support our clients as they build their new lives. We have been around for 24 years and counting!

Qualifications:

Support Staff will have completed general education requirements. Must have quality writing skills and word processing skills. Works well with limited oversight, can manage various tasks as assigned (time management skills). Professionalism and the ability to work in challenging situations. Familiarity and knowledge of 12 step recovery.

Duties:

Create a functional front-office environment for all Ocean Recovery staff. Create an inviting environment to clients by providing excellent, cheerful, and helpful service. Offer a consistent message with regards to policy and procedures. Maintain client safety and security by observing clients in the milieu, and the ability to identify client contraband (including drugs, alcohol, or paraphernalia). Monitor and document clients' behavior. Assist in the clients' orientation to program rules and structure. Observe, process, and document urine drug screening for clients. Consult with members of clinical staff as needed, and implement recommendations to ensure quality client care. Proficiently function in emergencies; de-escalating clients and reacting in a calm and confident manner. Manage time effectively by organizing and prioritizing workload to meet the needs of clients and other work assignments. Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as scheduled. Confirm and maintain client appointments. Observe and log clients' self-administered medications. Conform to CARF standards in delivery of all services and performance of duties. Other duties as assigned.
