After around ten years of development, the company has also developed into a full-service real estate enterprise integrating real estate investment consulting, architectural design, landscape design, and interior design, trusted by hundreds of real estate development companies. We are looking for a Construction Assistant to join our company to oversee multiple projects in the Southern California area and grow into a prospective Project Manager. We have a solid pipeline of work for the foreseeable future. Here are a few responsibilities you would expect:
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain daily log of job site occurrences Assist with the supervision of trade partners (Contractor and subcontractors) from rough, finish, detail, and preparation for final orientation Assist Project Managers in maintaining records of job changes Assist in the evaluation of trade partner's and product performance. Provide ongoing information to internal stakeholders. Assist Project Manager's as it relates to quality of workmanship Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives regarding quality and walk-through preparation of homes for move-in, ensuring timely home completions and deliveries Contact with Contractors/Subcontractors on project schedules and maintaining communication on project completion date/estimated time of completion. Assist with the coordination of the project architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel Take inspections with city and other authorities Perform all other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Bilingual English/Chinese with strong communication and writing ability ( preferred ) Minimum of 2 years of experience in Construction ( required ) Experience with residential constriction projects in California ( required ) Effective oral and written communication skills are strongly desired Ability to work independently and with guidance from senior management Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related Construction Management systems are preferred
