This role is essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and structured living environment for our residential students and supporting their personal and academic growth. This position is Saturday and Sunday 2:45pm- 11:45pm.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support students in the residential program during overnight hours Foster a positive, respectful community that promotes student retention, achievement, and independence Guide students in developing key life skills such as: Waking up and preparing for the day Maintaining personal hygiene and living areas Time management and punctuality for class Completing homework and laundry Engaging in recreational and group activities Use sound judgment and discretion to resolve student concerns and conflicts Maintain detailed case notes and documentation of student interactions and behavior Participate in seasonal cleaning and dormitory updates Serve as a positive role model at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required ; post-secondary education preferred Minimum of one year experience working with teens or young adults Valid driver's license with a good driving record Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant databases Mature, dependable, and well-organized Strong communication and collaboration skills
Additional Information:
Classified as essential staff by the Department of Labor Must be punctual, remain awake and alert throughout the shift, and provide advance notice of absences Includes two paid breaks and a one-hour unpaid meal break Equal Opportunity Employer -
