CLUBHOUSE ASSISTANT SITE DIRECTOR
The Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and organized individuals to join our Clubhouse team as Assistant Site Directors. This position offers the opportunity to help lead a before and after school program for elementary-aged children while gaining valuable leadership experience. Opportunities for continued employment as a summer camp counselor may also be available. Why Join Our Team? Mandatory Paid Training Dates:
August 4
  • August 7, 2026 Additional full-day shifts may be available on non-school days and scheduled field trip days.
Position Summary The Clubhouse Assistant Site Director assists with the daily operations of an assigned Clubhouse location and supports the Site Director in maintaining a safe, engaging, and well-organized program. Responsibilities include supervising participants, assisting with staff leadership, planning and implementing activities, preparing weekly lesson plans, and fostering positive relationships with families, school personnel, and Park District staff. The ideal candidate is responsible, reliable, and possesses strong communication and leadership skills. Assistant Site Directors play a key role in ensuring a high-quality experience for participants while supporting the overall success of the program.
Hours Morning Shift:
6:45 AM
  • 9:00 AM or 6:45 AM
  • 8:15 AM and/or
Afternoon Shift:
2:15 PM
  • 6:00 PM, or 2:45 PM
  • 6:00 PM, or 3:15 PM
  • 6:00 PM Starting Wage $17.
50+ per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits Employees who work 8 or more hours per week receive a complimentary Buffalo Grove Fitness Center membership, as well as discounts on Park District programs and activities. Some employees may be enrolled in IMRF pension.
