CPR Full Job Description Description:
The Assistant Director of Residential Services supports the Director in overseeing daily operations, staff performance, and program implementation across assigned residential services. This role assists with ensuring quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for individuals served while helping maintain efficient and effective program operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1.
Staff Management:
Provides guidance, coaching, and support to residential staff. Assists with onboarding, training, and scheduling of assigned team members. Observes staff performance and provides feedback to ensure quality service delivery. Supports staff in service provision when needed. 2.
Program Coordination:
Assists in implementing program procedures to ensure effective operations. Supports achievement of program goals related to participant outcomes and satisfaction. Ensures services are delivered in alignment with person-centered plans. Helps monitor program compliance with applicable standards and regulations. 3.
Data Management:
Assists with maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. Supports tracking of program metrics, compliance, and service delivery requirements. Ensures consistency with agency policies and procedures. 4.
Program Relations:
Supports communication with families, stakeholders, and internal teams. Assists in addressing concerns and improving service quality. Participates in meetings and collaboration efforts as assigned. 5.
Fiscal Support:
Assists with monitoring program expenses and resource utilization. Supports adherence to budget expectations and efficient use of staffing resources. 6.
Sycamore Services Team:
Promote and uphold the agency mission statement. Promote a sense of teamwork through mutual respect and assisting co-workers as needed. Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure program success and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to support and guide staff in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and assist with delegation. Ability to function in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business, or related field preferred. Associate degree or relevant experience may be considered. At least one year of experience in human services required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and providing direct support. Ability to assist individuals with mobility and daily living activities. Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition individuals as needed. Ability to respond to emergency situations, including performing CPR. Ability to work in residential and community-based environments with varying conditions.
