Barton County Upward Bound Temporary Employee

Barton Community College is seeking applications for a Temporary Employee position for the Barton County Upward Bound Program. This position will be specifically working during the summer residential program from June 1st through June 26th. Employees must be able to assist teachers, assist UB staff during field trips, drive a 15-passenger van, and serve as positive role models. Duties also include supervising participants in a group living environment, facilitating conflict resolution, addressing disciplinary problems, and assisting UB staff during evening activities. The position involves working long hours including evenings and Sundays with culturally and socio-economically diverse high school students.

Qualifications:

Applicant must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to pass a background check; completion of sophomore year of college preferred; high school diploma required; GPA of 3.0 required.
