Resident Assistant North American Hockey Academy, LLC - 4.0 Braintree, MA Job Details Full-time | Contract $2,500 - $4,000 a month 20 hours ago Benefits Housing allowance Relocation assistance Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork Interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree Working with students Full Job Description Resident Assistant - Residential Life CATS Academy Boston Position Summary The Resident Assistant (RA) plays a key role in supporting the safety, wellbeing, and overall residential experience North American Hockey Academy boarding students at CATS Academy Boston. This live-in position helps foster a positive, inclusive, and structured dormitory environment while serving as a mentor, role model, and resource for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. The RA works closely with the Residential Life team to ensure students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year. Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Support & Mentorship Build positive relationships with boarding students and serve as a trusted mentor and resource Support students with personal, social, and academic concerns Help students transition successfully into boarding school life Encourage respectful behavior, inclusion, and community engagement Promote student wellbeing and escalate concerns when necessary Residential Supervision Supervise students during assigned shifts, evenings, weekends, and overnight duty rotations Conduct regular dorm rounds and ensure all residential policies and expectations are followed Respond appropriately to emergencies, behavioral concerns, and student incidents Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming residential environment Assist with room inspections, student check ins/check outs, and curfew enforcement Community Building Plan and assist with residential activities, events, and student engagement programs Foster a positive dorm culture that promotes leadership, accountability, and teamwork Support school wide events, orientation programs, and weekend activities Communication & Administration Maintain accurate incident reports, wellness updates, and residential documentation Communicate professionally with Residential Life leadership regarding student concerns Collaborate with faculty, counselors, advisors, and parents when appropriate Assist with enforcing school policies and maintaining community standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Experience working with teenagers, students, athletics, camps, or residential programs preferred Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed CPR/First Aid certification preferred Ability to work effectively in a multicultural boarding school environment Preferred Qualities Positive role model with strong professionalism Organized, dependable, and approachable Comfortable handling sensitive student situations with maturity and discretion Passion for mentoring and supporting student development Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary or stipend On campus housing and meals are included Professional development opportunities Access to campus facilities and school events CATS Academy Boston's Residential Life program emphasizes student safety, wellbeing, mentorship, and community engagement within its international boarding environment.
