We have immediate openings for Residential Instructors who provide direct and ongoing supervision, support, and instruction to students, while overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the dormitory.

Essential Job Function:

• Full time position requiring maturity, initiative, and a positive, proactive, student-oriented style.
• Provide direct and ongoing supervision, support, and instruction to students, while coordinating the day-to-day operations of the dormitory.
• Provide an engaged, structured and supportive dormitory environment designed to promote growth and independence through assessment, direct instruction, positive reinforcement and the setting of clear and consistent expectations.
• Meet the individual and collective needs of assigned students relative to their unique learning styles. Key competencies:
• Demonstrate an understanding of the School mission and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Experience working with students with learning and intellectual disabilities and/or a willingness to engage in professional development to gain the knowledge necessary to effectively work with the Riverview student profile.
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with students, families and co-workers.
• Comply with School, OSHA and Board of Health safety guidelines and training.

Requirements:

Suitable Background check result (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprinting required Legal authorization to work in the US CPR/AED/Standard First Aid /EpiPen certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Valid Driver's license Shift options: Full Time

• Sunday-Wednesday (Shifts include evenings and weekends) Full Time
• Wednesday-Saturday (Shifts include evenings and weekends) Residential Instructor (day shift/no overnights) pay range: $32,000
• $37,500. Residential Instructor (with overnights) pay range: $62,500
• $74,500.
