Leasing Assistant Location Shrewsbury, MA 1545 Date Posted June 02, 2026 Job ID 14684 Employment Type Direct Hire Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Leasing Assistant for a well-established residential community management organization. This is a full-time onsite opportunity located in the Shrewsbury, Massachusetts area. The schedule for this role consists of three weekday shifts from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday) along with weekend shifts from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday). Flexibility to support business needs and community operations is required.

The Leasing Assistant will serve as a key representative of a residential community, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process while supporting occupancy goals and resident satisfaction initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where customer service, professionalism, and strong closing ability are highly valued.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to prospective resident inquiries, schedule appointments, and conduct property tours from leasing offices and model spaces
  • Manage the leasing process from application through signed lease agreements while maintaining strong closing ratios and occupancy goals
  • Build relationships with current and prospective residents while supporting resident retention initiatives and customer service efforts
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding apartment turnovers, work orders, and move-in readiness
  • Handle administrative responsibilities including rent collection, documentation, office support tasks, and maintaining accurate records
  • Generate leasing traffic through referrals, advertisements, online leads, and additional outreach efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior sales experience
  • Strong sales mindset with confidence in relationship building, objection handling, and closing opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills with a polished and professional presentation style
  • Comfortable utilizing Microsoft Office
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation for this opportunity starts at approximately $28-$30/hour depending on experience. Benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, sick time, health insurance contribution, profit sharing opportunities, and life insurance/disability options.
