mercyridge.com Mercy Ridge is looking to hire an overnight Resident Assistant for our Assisted Living Program. This position does require a Certified Nursing License (CNA) I or II. This is a full-time non-exempt position, which may include overtime. Under the direct supervision of the Resident Care Manager/Delegating Nurse Manager and/or Administrator of Assisted Living, the incumbent is responsible for providing direct care to residents to enhance the lives of each resident in the Assisted Living environment.
Schedule:
weekdays and every other weekend 11pm
  • 7am
Essential Functions:
Performs direct and indirect care to resident to include activities of daily living: Bathing, feeding, toileting, performing grooming activities, oral hygiene, cleaning all body areas as needed and denture care Monitors and assists as appropriate in dining room during meal times Ensures that the residents laundry is clean and maintained Light housekeeping duties in residents rooms Transferring and positioning residents in chairs, beds, wheelchairs, turning and changing position of residents, and lifting resident with assistance Performing active range of motion with the Residents Making occupied and unoccupied beds Weighing residents, taking vital signs, practicing universal precautions Documents care in electronic medical record
