Job Description
Otterbein Jackson:
Seeking passionate Resident Assistants to join our TEAM! This position provides direct services to our Assisted Living residents in the form of ADL's, housekeeping, meals, activities and medication administration.Responsibilities:
- Provides direct personal care for Assisted Living residents
- Guides and assists residents with activities of daily living in a manner that is consistent with the mission, values and operating principles of Otterbein Jackson.
- Provides in-house escort services to beauty shop, activities and dinner
- Provides assistance with telephone, correspondence, housekeeping tasks, meals and activated.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assisted living, geriatrics or memory loss care preferred
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple math
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time
