This is a great opportunity to work with a successful custom home building company to gain hands-on experience and learn all stages of the homebuilding process. This position will work closely with our Project Managers from the start of construction through completion. The ideal candidate will have construction experience and/or carpentry skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to assist wherever needed. Flexible hours may be considered. Job Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager with daily job-site tasks Perform various carpentry and general construction tasks throughout the building process Help communicate and meet with subcontractors on-site Keep job sites and homes clean and organized Pick up or return materials as directed by the Project Manager Assist with punch-list items at the end of construction Help complete warranty-related tasks Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager Qualifications and Skills Carpentry skills or residential construction knowledge preferred Strong communication skills and ability to speak English Professional appearance and behavior Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Ability to work outdoors for most of the day Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn Employment is subject to applicable company requirements. Compensation will be based on experience.
