• to provide supervision, structure, and support to clients in our residential programs.

The Residential Monitor plays an important role in maintaining a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment. This position requires the ability to establish appropriate professional boundaries while consistently enforcing program policies and supporting clients in meeting their treatment and recovery goals. ## Available Positions

• 3:30 PM-12:00 Midnight
• Must be available to work weekends

• Per Diem Residential Monitor
• As-needed coverage
• Must have flexibility to cover open shifts, call-outs, weekends, and holidays as needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities Residential Monitors are responsible for the day-to-day supervision and support of clients residing in the program.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor clients and maintain a safe, structured residential environment.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients at all times.
• Consistently enforce program rules, policies, schedules, and expectations.
• Monitor and assist clients with
• self-administration of medications
• in accordance with program policies and procedures.
• Complete required medication documentation and immediately report medication discrepancies or concerns.
• Collect and properly document
• urine drug screens
• and other substance-use testing as required by program policy.
• Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments, treatment-related appointments, employment, shopping, community activities, and other approved destinations.
• Monitor client activities, whereabouts, curfews, and compliance with program expectations.
• Conduct required facility and client checks and document observations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, room assignments, and client orientation as assigned.
• Complete shift documentation, incident reports, transportation logs, medication records, and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Communicate significant client concerns, behavioral issues, rule violations, medical concerns, or unusual incidents to appropriate supervisory or clinical staff.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established emergency and incident-reporting procedures.
• Support clients in developing personal responsibility, accountability, independent living skills, and recovery-oriented behaviors.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with

HIPAA, 42 CFR

Part 2, and agency confidentiality policies.

• Work cooperatively with counselors, clinical staff, management, and other residential staff to provide consistent expectations and supervision.
• Maintain the residential environment in a manner that promotes safety, cleanliness, respect, and recovery.
• Perform other duties as assigned. ## Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in
• substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, mental health, residential treatment, corrections, recovery services, or a related human-services setting
• strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a residential treatment environment is preferred.
• Must demonstrate good judgment, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries.
• Must be comfortable enforcing rules and addressing inappropriate behavior in a professional and respectful manner.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately to challenging client behaviors or emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required electronic documentation.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet agency requirements to transport clients in agency vehicles.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks, screenings, and employment requirements.
• Must be able to work assigned weekends and holidays as scheduled. ## The ideal candidate understands that residential treatment requires both
