Summary As a Resident Mentor, you are more than a supervisor, you are a pillar of our recovery community. We are looking for mission-driven individuals who are deeply passionate about the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) field. Whether you are driven by a personal journey (lived experience), a professional calling, or a desire to give back, your primary role is to model a healthy, sober lifestyle while maintaining a safe and accountable environment. You will work as a vital link between the residents and our clinical team, ensuring that the house culture remains therapeutic and supportive. Shift Availability 7:00am

Key Responsibilities Recovery Mentorship & Empowerment:
Provide direct guidance by modeling healthy boundaries and effective communication. Use your passion or lived experience to help residents navigate the 12-step model, encouraging them to solve problems through peer support and self-help concepts.
Crisis Intervention & Resolution:
Act as the primary point of contact for house conflicts. Utilize proactive de-escalation techniques and thoughtful decision-making to manage high-stress situations, ensuring a calm, therapeutic environment during swing and overnight shifts.
Safety, Accountability & Compliance:
Maintain a substance-free facility through regular room checks, facility walkthroughs, and drug/alcohol screenings. Uphold program integrity by enforcing house rules fairly and maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality.
Operational Excellence & Coordination:
Facilitate resident orientations, admissions, and discharges. Accompany residents to appointments and community meetings, while ensuring all behavioral observations and incidents are documented with clinical professionalism. Requirements Passion vs
Experience:
We welcome candidates who are new to the field but possess a deep commitment to recovery. Whether through lived experience or a career calling, you must demonstrate a genuine desire to help others navigate the journey of sobriety.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Safety:
Must pass all mandatory pre-employment screenings, including background checks and health screenings.
Clean Record:
