Job Description
Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Crisis Residential Specialist to work at our Respite Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Athens, OH. •We are currently seeking two (2) Full Time, 40 hours per week Crisis Residential Specialist as well as two (2) Part Time positions, working 0-19 hours per week. Part Time positions will be for evenings, weekends and fill-in shifts. These are awake positions As a Crisis Residential Specialist you will monitor resident's ability to self-medicate and assists clients in learning their medication regime; Assists residents in increasing social support networks both within and outside of the facility. Actively involves residents in treatment planning in cooperation with prescreener, CIT staff and other Hopewell Health Center staff. What do we require from our Crisis Residential Specialists? $1,000 signing bonus available for Full Time position after 3 months of service!! Eligible to work in the United States High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Willingness to work any shift- nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed. Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance and Clean Driving Record Awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural diversity of the population served, implicit bias & its impact on care; Commitment to the promotion of social justice and ability to promote diversity equity & inclusion within programs; Ability to work independently, multi-task on multiple initiatives in parallel, & relate to a variety of professionals & caregivers.
