Bethany Health & Rehabilitation Center in Canton, OH is seeking a compassionate and dependable candidate to join our team as a Resident Assistant (RA). As a RA in our Assisted Living community, you are essential to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for our residents. You will provide hands-on assistance while encouraging independence, dignity, and quality of life. Working closely with nursing staff and fellow caregivers, you will help ensure residents receive personalized care in a warm, home-like setting. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Support residents during mealtimes, including meal setup and feeding assistance as needed. Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure resident safety. Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff. Engage residents in social, recreational, and daily activities to promote emotional and physical well-being. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment. Support residents with respect, patience, and compassion at all times. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure exceptional resident care. What You Need Willingness to obtain required training/certification for a Resident Assistant (RA) role (if applicable). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
