Job Description
Behavioral Health Residential Specialist - Adults
Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is seeking caring and reliable individuals to join the team as Residential Specialists. Weekend availability is required. Residential specialists provide support and care to our adult residents with a mental health diagnosis in living independently. Job responsibilities include working with clients on living independently from cleaning, cooking, managing the laundry schedule, engaging clients in social activities, self-care, and more. This position supports residents during outings in which they may be driving the group. Residential Specialists ensure a clean and safe environment by ensuring procedures are followed. Residential Specialists make a difference in the client's life by working with them to teach life skills.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working or supporting someone with a mental health diagnosis is preferred.
- A high school diploma/GED is required.
- A valid driver license and clean driving record for transportation duties is preferred.
- Writing and computer skills as this will be used to enter client notes into the Electronic Medical Records system.
- Ability to weekends.
