Residential Assistant (RA) Responsibilities Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs. Assists residents with specific needs involving their activities of daily living. Assists residents with laundry. Oversees residents' meal preparation in their rooms. Assists residents with self-administration of medications. Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers the telephone. Maintains physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner. Performs other related activities as assigned or requested. Residential Assistant (RA) Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
