Sterling Suites Senior Living provides Assisted Living services to residents who may need assistance with different activities of daily living. Summary As a Resident Assistant at Sterling Suites Senior Living, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents. This position is essential for enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our communities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. This position will assist residents with tasks of daily living including but not limited to assistance with personal care, social interaction, leisure and recreation opportunities. Starting pay for this position is $14 an hour The typical schedule for this opportunity is Three (3) 12-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview. We have flexible scheduling options for employees seeking Part Time, Full Time or As Needed (PRN) employment. vaccines Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, social and recreational pursuits, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of residents. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring environment. Help implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain cleanliness and organization within resident living areas. Requirements Experience in caregiving or working in a healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of personal care home operations and dementia care practices is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
