About the Role Join Serenity Lane as a Residential Treatment Specialist and play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use disorders. In this rewarding position, you'll help create and maintain a safe, structured, and compassionate environment in our residential treatment program. What You'll Do Assist clients with daily living activities and therapeutic routines. Monitor participation in meals, meetings, and activities. Support new admissions and conduct patient orientations. Be visible and available to encourage engagement and model healthy behavior. Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and Serenity Lane policies. Communicate and document issues such as discharges, at-risk behaviors, and safety concerns. Stay current with internal communications and respond promptly. Conduct perimeter checks and enforce emergency and fire safety procedures. Identify and appropriately respond to psychological and physical safety risks. Coordinate care with clinical and nursing staff. Participate in team meetings and trainings. Communicate significant client concerns to supervisors and appropriate departments. Supervise student counselors as assigned. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions. Embody Serenity Lane's mission and core values. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent required. CADC-R required; CADC I preferred. Ability to create a professional, supportive environment. Exhibit strong communication and observational skills. Individual who is team-oriented with a collaborative mindset. Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods. Occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Comfortable working in varied noise levels and performing repetitive tasks.
