05/30/2026 PURPOSE Instructs non-vocational high school classes in industrial education and supervises student activities related to the above so that students develop an awareness of the effects of industry on society; discover and develop individual interests, aptitudes, and abilities related to the technology of industry; are aware of industrial organization and production concepts; develop interpersonal skills; and expand their awareness of career opportunities. A qualified candidate would have extensive experience in residential construction and an ability to teach all phases of home building: foundations, framing, siding, roofing, interior finishing, etc. The successful candidate will also need experience with project management to coordinate with subcontractors and industry partners through a complex home build. Knowledge of residential building codes and permitting process is required.
