Are you a people-person who loves to connect with caregivers and families to improve the quality of care provided to residents with Dementia? At our community—you'll be the friendly supervisor who holds staff accountable for great care and the compassionate team member connecting with families and providers to ensure timely communication and feedback.
What You'll Do:
Connect with families/POAs to provide communication on resident care and status changes, coordinate third party services when ordered and appropriate, and receive and implement feedback when offered by families/POAs Ensure quality care by supervising staff and their documented care per resident care plans, manage staff schedules assuring appropriate staffing per state regulations, provide feedback to Resident Care Director and Executive Director on changes to resident needs and staffing needs Assist Director of Resident Care with out-of-building and third party care follow-up, care planning, initial and annual assessments, care conferences and required paperwork Create a "best in the business" care team by assisting in care when needed, recognizing above/beyond moments, creating a culture of care and accountability Embrace being a member of the team with confidence, positivity, and professionalism.

A servant leader attitude with a willingness to demonstrate what you expect from others 1 - 3 years of experience supervising staff in a senior living or clinical setting (dementia experience a plus, caregiving experience a plus) LPN and Memory Care Director's are encouraged to apply, but are not necessary to be successful in the role If not an LPN or Memory Care Director, willingness to become a certified medication technician and to obtain your free PA direct care staff certification Superior communication and people-skills Strong organizational instincts and diligent follow-up Tech comfort—MS Office, EMR systems & Internet based applications A heart for helping seniors thrive
Preferred:
? Bachelor's degree—but passion and proven skills are equally valued?
Pay:
$68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
