Position Summary The Residential Construction Evaluator plays a key role in delivering our promise of 5-star customer experience and involves direct interaction with homeowners. This position works primarily in the field, performing project scope reviews and obtaining precise measurements for new installations. This role serves as a critical liaison between Sales and the customer, ensuring that what was sold can be successfully installed. The Residential Construction Evaluator/ Measurements is responsible for verifying project feasibility, identifying potential issues, and gathering accurate measurements to support error-free material ordering and installation. This position requires strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to complete an average of four to six in-home appointments per day while maintaining professionalism and punctuality. Experience in residential construction , plumbing , electrical and concrete work is highly desired in our team. They are the face of the company, so we are looking for someone with a great attitude and professional demeanor to help create strong and lasting customer relations. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed project scope reviews to verify installation feasibility Take accurate field measurements for kitchen, bathroom remodeling, accessibility modifications, flooring, windows, siding, doors, and related projects Performing Project Scope Reviews to determine if what was sold can be installed Reviewing job-related paperwork independently and with customers Troubleshooting jobs with Sales and the Installation Manager as needed to meet customer's expectations and ensure an error-free project Providing excellent customer service during in-home visits Taking clear project photos, uploading them to internal software system, and tagging them accurately Attending sales and production management meetings, as necessary Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred 5+ years of experience in residential construction or remodeling 2+ years of experience in exterior residential home improvement (windows, doors, siding, etc.) Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic computer literacy including use of electronic calendars, Microsoft Word documents and email Use of devices such as an iPad and smartphone Ability to accurately take measurements and translate them into actionable scopes and documentation Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing workloads Self-starter, efficient, productive, works well with a team Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications Trade certifications or vocational training Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, and ADA modifications OSHA or safety training certifications Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Ability to navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain, mud, gravel and unfinished surfaces Adequate vision and hearing to perform essential job functions and maintain safety
Pay:
