Charleston County - 3.3 North Charleston, SC Job Details Full-time From $19.34 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Vision insurance Qualifications Computer operation High school diploma or GED Driver's License Computer skills Full Job Description Description This position manages a team of Recovery Assistants (RA's) in a residential substance use treatment setting. The work schedule is typically 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, though other hours will be required as needed to meet staff training, supervision, and coverage purposes.
STARTING HOURLY
$19.34 Continuation of employment in this position is contingent upon availability of funding from service, program and agency earnings.
OPEN UNTIL FILLED - APPLICATION REVIEW BEGINS IMMEDIATELY
Duties and Responsibilities Providing leadership to the RA team; Developing RA work schedules that ensure appropriate coverage; Ensuring adherence to agency, DPH, and accreditation standards as they relate to health and safety in the residential environment; On-Call responsibilities; Essential employee during emergency and natural disaster situations; Training new staff; Various human resources functions (appraisals, disciplinary actions, supervision, hiring, etc.); Ensuring collaborative cooperation with the Clinical and Medical staff; Ensuring all required inspections (vehicles, rooms, belongings, etc.) are completed in accordance with applicable standards and protocols; Ensuring all new clients are oriented to the program; Timely ordering of various items (linens, food, etc.); Providing excellent customer service. RA duties as necessary; Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED; Will be expected to obtain and maintain CPR certification; A valid SC Driver's license; Copy of
SC DMV 10
year driving record that includes no suspensions during that time; Basic computer skills; Must obtain a Substance Abuse Specialist (SAS) certification within 3 years of hire; Current SAS and/or experience working in a residential treatment setting preferred as is previous experience in a leadership position.
