Job Description

Schedule :
Monday at 1:00 p.m. - Friday at 2:00 p.m.
Hours :
50 hours per week, including 10 hours of overtime
Requirement :
On-campus stay throughout the scheduled work period We are seeking a dependable and compassionate individual to work with teenage boys in a residential group home setting. This is a live-in position , requiring on-campus stay Monday through Friday. Position Summary The Live-In Staff plays a vital role in creating a safe, loving, structured, and engaging environment for youth in residential care, while providing consistent supervision, guidance, and support. Responsibilities Provide direct care and supervision Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment Serve as a positive role model and mentor Assist with daily routines, homework, and recreational activities Provide behavioral support and teach life skills Use positive behavior management and de-escalation techniques Monitor and document activities, behaviors, and incidents Communicate with supervisors and team members Follow individual care plans and organizational policies Requirements 21 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year experience working with children or youth Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to pass required drug screening, physical and background checks Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Patience, emotional maturity, and sound judgment Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human services or related field Experience working with adolescents, at-risk youth, or teenage boys Experience in a residential group home, foster care, or child welfare setting CPR/First Aid certification Established in 1935, Crosswell Home for Children is a residential group home providing a safe, stable, nurturing, and Christian-centered environment for children and youth across South Carolina. Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
