About the Role The Field Assistant is the go-to support person for our Project Managers and leadership team. One day you might be staging cabinets and setting mailboxes; the next you're installing silt fence, supporting an inspection, or running a critical errand that keeps a job on schedule. If you like variety, independence, and being the person everyone can count on, this role was built for you. You'll spend your days on the road between jobsites in a company vehicle, managing your own route and schedule. Part of the time in be in the office at your desk. This is a great entry point into residential construction What You'll Do Support Project Managers with jobsite tasks: cleanup, punch-out help, inspections, moving and staging cabinets and doors, mailbox installation, silt fence and erosion control, and lot mowing Plan and route your own day for maximum efficiency, and send a daily plan to leadership each evening Keep your company van clean, stocked, organized, and maintained Maintain our shop/shed so materials are always stocked and ready for the team Track every task in our project management software (BuilderTrend) and close it out with photos — we document everything Upload receipts for company card purchases as you make them Assist the owner with occasional business and personal errands that keep his focus on running the company What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated — you'll manage your own day Comfortable with basic hand and power tools and physical outdoor work in all weather Strong communicator by phone, text, and app — over-communication is our standard Organized and detail-oriented; you take pride in work being done right the first time Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Construction experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right attitude What You Get Company vehicle Company cell phone Company credit card for work purchases Consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule Hands-on training and a real path to grow into project management and other roles A team culture built on positive attitudes, safety leadership, and mutual respect Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials (cabinets, doors, silt fence, tools) Comfortable working outdoors year-round on active construction sites Hard hat and safety compliance required on all jobsites (provided) Foundation Homes Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
