The Barry Robinson Center is a residential treatment facility serving military-connected youth ages 11-17. Our Center provides a holistic, therapeutic environment that helps youth and their families begin the path to healing, growth, and long-term success. As our program continues to grow, we are looking for compassionate and dependable team members to join us as Residential Coaches (RCs). We provide a strong orientation and training program designed to set you up for success, including CPR and First Aid certification, ongoing support, and professional development opportunities. What You'll Do As a Residential Coach (RC), you will help create a safe, supportive, and structured environment for adolescents in our care.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising and supporting residents throughout daily activities Ensuring safety and maintaining appropriate behavioral expectations Building positive, professional relationships with youth Supporting emotional growth and healthy coping skills Responding calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations Documenting resident behaviors, staff interventions, and outcomes accurately Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team What Our Residents Value Most in Staff We asked our residents what qualities matter most in a Residential Coach. Pay Starting Pay:
$18.00/hour plus shift differentials. Weekday evenings, +$1.50/hr., Weekends +$2.50/hr.
Schedule Overnight RC/TL Full-Time Traditional:
Scheduled shifts throughout the week, including every other weekend.
Weekday Overnight Shift:
10:45pm-7:30am (overnight/midnight differential each hour worked)
Traditional Scheduled Weekends:
Weekends for Overnight full-time consist of Fridays and Saturdays. Full-time staff will alternate their weekends whereas they will work one weekend and have the following weekend off. (10:45pm-7:30am)
Overnight Part-Time Schedule:
Part-time Shifts for Overnight are based on a person-by-person basis or scheduled every Friday and Saturday night (10:45pm-7:30am). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human services and at least six months of professional experience working with youth.
