Job Description

Experience and Qualifications:
This requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification. Experience in human services or residential treatment is preferred. Current, valid VA driver's license. Current CPR/first aid certification. Current TB Test, within the past year. Candidate must provide proof of or satisfactorily complete upon hire, all DBHDS required training. Under the direction and supervision of a QMHP, Clinical Supervisor, and Clinical Director, assists with providing support to individuals in Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit. Work is performed daily with RCSU services staff and other medical providers. All work remains to the highest professional ethic standard and in compliance with the Prosperous Beginning, LLC mission, values and guiding principles.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists in creating a safe and healthy environment Assist with meals and snacks prepping Assists with connecting individuals with offsite appointments Assists with transporting individuals to appointments if necessary Assist individuals with laundry Prepares rooms for client admissions and discharges Assists with providing sight and sound supervision Assists with answering phones Monitors supplies needed on the unit and assists with obtaining the same Present professionally and positively in all interactions Attend staff and group meetings Attends scheduled training as directed Performs other duties as assigned or required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of life skills techniques Knowledge of behavioral management techniques Vehicle transport, first aid, and CPR Ability to work effectively in stressful situations Ability to work effectively in a team approach environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
