Job Description
The Racine Dominicans are hiring a compassionate, organized Assistant Dominican Sisters' Residence & Dominican Life Coordinator to support the daily life and well‑being of the Sisters. This role blends relational engagement with coordination of activities, communication, and daily operational support. This role will promote an environment that respects the dignity, individuality, and Dominican identity of each Sister while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. Responsibilities include providing companionship and group engagement opportunities, assisting Sisters with basic technology and communication needs, helping plan and coordinate small events, facilitating Zoom programs, and collaborating with staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Weekend and event coverage is shared between the Assistant Coordinator and the Coordinator.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 2-4 years' experience in senior living, assisted living, or similar environments Experience coordinating resident services and working alongside care staff Demonstrated experience working with older adults with empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom Respect for and willingness to support the mission, values, and life of Women Religious Valid driver's license and proof of insurance Satisfactory criminal background check and basic physical Previous experience working with Women Religious may be preferred Why Join Us?
