In this role, you will serve as a compassionate caregiver, ensuring residents' safety, comfort, and well-being while fostering a warm and respectful community. Your energy and commitment will help create an engaging atmosphere where residents feel valued and supported every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors and those with disabilities or memory care requirements. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility and transferring support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Provide medication administration following the six rights of medication administration, prescribed schedules, and safety protocols Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas Document resident progress and incidents accurately Skills Proven experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or personal care homes Knowledge of assisted living practices, home & community care, or group home environments Strong understanding of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and managing behavioral challenges Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively during emergencies Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward individuals with disabilities or developmental delays Capable of performing light cleaning duties to maintain a safe environment Join us to empower residents through dedicated support and compassionate care!
