The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and group home settings. This position involves assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and fostering a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support meal preparation and ensure residents receive nutritious meals according to dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness in resident areas and assist with light housekeeping tasks. Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being. Document resident care and report any changes in health or behavior to Administration. Lift and transfer residents safely using proper techniques and equipment. Skills Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others. Experience in caregiving or home care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with assisted living systems and protocols. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving residents as needed. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary requirements. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Compassionate attitude towards residents, ensuring their dignity and respect at all times.
