Job Description

The Assistant Director of Residential Programs supports the overall management and daily operations of the program. This role provides leadership, supervision, and program oversight to ensure a safe, structured and therapeutic environment for all residents. Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating program operations, policies and procedures. Supervise and support site managers and behavioral support specialists to ensure consistent delivery of services. Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching, training and professional development. Ensure all programs operate in accordance with licensing requirements, contracts and agency policies. Participate in hiring, on boarding, scheduling and training of staff. Represent Genesis Youth Crisis Center, Inc. in professional activities, community programs, or other meetings, which are directly related either to children or the administration of the agency. Full-time position comes with insurance benefits, PTO, 401k, etc The minimum requirements are: Valid WV driver's license 21 years of age 4-year degree in a Human Service Field which includes: social work. sociology, psychology, criminal justice, counseling, etc. Insurance and proper registration on vehicle Pass a drug screen Pass a criminal background check, no charges at all Pass a CPS check, no abuse or neglect charges Pass training for First Aid/CPR and TCI, be physically able to complete all.'
