$20-$25 per hour (Compensation commensurate with experience)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Ignitus Recovery is a growing behavioral health organization providing residential and outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health disorders at Cherry Hills Recovery and Boulder Hills Recovery. The Recovery Coach plays a vital role in supporting clients throughout every stage of treatment by building trust, reinforcing accountability, and helping individuals strengthen recovery skills and healthy routines. This role combines relatable lived experience, compassionate support, and trauma-responsive engagement within a Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC). This position is ideal for individuals passionate about recovery who bring empathy, professionalism, and consistency to the client care environment.

Work directly with clients in a mission-driven behavioral health program Support clients through meaningful relationship-building and recovery mentorship Be part of a collaborative treatment team focused on long-term healing and sustainable recovery Help shape a growing behavioral health organization grounded in trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build safe, professional, and trust-based relationships with clients using trauma-responsive and culturally inclusive communication Facilitate recovery-focused conversations, skill-building activities, and supportive client check-ins Role-model healthy boundaries, emotional regulation, and recovery-oriented behaviors Support daily client engagement, participation, and community accountability within the program Assist clients in developing practical recovery skills and healthy routines Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR/EHR system Communicate client concerns, observations, and progress with clinical and medical staff Support transportation and external appointments when needed Support crisis prevention and de-escalation as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong interpersonal skills grounded in compassion and emotional intelligence Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients Basic understanding of addiction, recovery, trauma-responsive care, and behavioral health environments Ability to document clearly and communicate effectively with team members Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass federal, state, and county background checks Preferred Lived experience in recovery with sustained recovery preferred Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, peer support, or residential care CPR/First Aid certification and/or state-required credentials (such as QMAP) Experience working within recovery-oriented systems of care
