Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed during programs to ensure safety and participation. Coordinate resident outings, special events, and community engagement initiatives that foster a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Maintain detailed records of resident participation, preferences, and feedback to continuously improve program offerings. Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure activities align with care plans and health protocols. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes to streamline program management. Requirements Proven experience in event planning within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care environments. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory support programs, and recreational therapy techniques. Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in long-term or home & community care settings. Strong communication skills to effectively engage residents and coordinate with staff and families. Ability to develop creative programs that cater to diverse needs while ensuring safety standards are met. Familiarity with scheduling tools and resident record systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred. Demonstrated ability to build meaningful rapport with geriatric patients and foster a positive community atmosphere. Experience in program development, team leadership, or coordinating resident events is highly desirable.
