Job Description

Description Bay State Community Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Coach to provide peer-based support to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. The Recovery Coach serves as a mentor, advocate, and resource, helping participants identify and achieve their recovery goals while connecting them to community-based services and supports. This position is ideal for individuals who have personal lived experience with recovery and are passionate about helping others navigate their own recovery journey. What You Will Be Doing to Make A Difference... Build supportive, strengths-based relationships with individuals seeking recovery support. Assist participants in identifying personal recovery goals and developing action plans. Provide encouragement, mentoring, and advocacy throughout the recovery process. Connect individuals with community resources, treatment providers, housing, employment, education, and other supports. Facilitate recovery-focused groups and activities as appropriate. Maintaining strict confidentiality is a necessity in this position Other duties assigned as necessary to maintain the program operations of the Center Qualifications Lived experience with sustained recovery is required Strong people focus and orientation will add value to the agency and programs that the Recovery Support Center serves Must attend the
