Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to seniors in various settings including assisted living f, and memory care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aging issues and be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through supportive and recreational activities. This role requires effective communication skills and a passion for senior care. Responsibilities Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars. Assist the Life Enrichment Manager with the overall direction, planning, communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment Department. Support the Life Enrichment Manager with administrative tasks as needed. Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety. Support in proper setup, clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces. Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practices. Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook. Skills Experience or knowledge in dementia care and memory care practices is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with seniors, and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help improve the lives of seniors.
