Position Summary The Life Enrichment Assistant plays a key role in creating a vibrant and engaging community for our residents. This position assists with planning, organizing, and leading activities that promote socialization, emotional well-being, physical activity, and fun. The ideal candidate is outgoing, creative, dependable, and passionate about working with seniors. What You'll Do Assist with creating and distributing monthly activity calendars Communicate upcoming events through flyers, announcements, and postings Help decorate the community for holidays, special events, and seasonal celebrations Lead group activities, games, classes, outings, and special events Encourage resident participation and engagement Foster meaningful social connections among residents Ensure scheduled activities occur as planned and provide alternatives when necessary Safely transport residents using community vehicles as needed Maintain accurate documentation and activity records Support community events and special programs Collaborate with team members to create memorable resident experiences Qualifications Required CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with seniors, families, and team members Basic computer skills including email, Microsoft Office, and data entry Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Weekend availability Preferred Experience working with seniors, assisted living, memory care, recreation, or activities programs Knowledge of Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations Event planning or recreational programming experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting Ability to safely assist residents with activities and outings Why Join The Springs Living?
