LIFE ENRICHMENT ASSISTANT - THE BARCLAY
Liberty Cares With Compassion Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced:
LIFE ENRICHMENT ASSISTANT
Job Summary:
Assist in planning and promoting programming based on needs and interests of the residents. Assists with move-in orientation with all new residents of the Community. Assists with the event sign-ups and reservations for life enrichment programs. Assists in the educating residents on the policies and procedures for event reservations and sign-ups. Assists with creating the calendar for all life enrichment programs and events. Conducts recreational activities, both indoor and outdoor as directed by supervisor. Assists in posting of all events and programs in a manner to encourage participation and enthusiasm among residents. Attends programs at times other than regularly scheduled duty hours when needed. Assists with content for a Community Newsletter on a monthly basis. Participates in fire drills. Performs other duties as requested.
Job Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language. Must be willing to work and cooperate well with other employees. Must be able to problem-solve. Must be able to work well under pressure. Must be willing to perform various jobs. Must care for equipment used. Must use supplies economically. Demonstrates neat appearance and good personal hygiene. Wears appropriate attire in keeping with Community dress code. Must read, know and follow personnel, department and Community policy. Runs errands as necessary. Must on occasion assist with transporting residents to events. (This could be driving van or driving personal vehicle to event to accompany residents.)
