We are Watson Assisted Living located in Dover, NH, and we are looking for the best and brightest to help us change long term care. Position Summary The Life Enrichment Assistant helps plan and lead activities that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being for our residents. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, compassionate, and enjoys spending time with seniors in a smaller, home-like setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning, organizing, and leading evening activities (games, music, crafts, social programs, movies, discussion groups, etc.) Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to individual needs and abilities Escort and assist residents to and from programs within the building Help with set-up and clean-up of program spaces and supplies Support special events and seasonal programs as needed Build positive, supportive relationships with residents, families, and staff Qualifications Experience working with seniors or in activities/recreation is helpful, but not required Friendly, patient, and upbeat personality with a genuine interest in older adults Good communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable engaging small groups and individuals Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to assist with light physical tasks, including pushing wheelchairs Must pass background checks and any required health screenings
